PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely set a flat cable at a normal position. SOLUTION: A holder 23 displacing in a drawer-like form between a removing position and a connecting position is installed in a connector housing 21. The holder 23 can firmly hold the termination part of a flat cable 10. When the termination part of the flat cable 10 is set in the holder 23 and the holder 23 is displaced from the removing position to an assembling position, the termination part of the flat cable 10 is set at a predetermined position where it can be connected to a terminal fitting 22.
