PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature having a commutator, capable of attaining stability in starting by eliminating a starting dead point, of suppressing electromagnetic noise, being downsized, thinned, and cost-reduced, and reducing the number of parts, in a flat type DC motor for generating vibration constituted of the armature using the magnetic field of a permanent magneto 137 with 4 poles polarized in the perpendicular direction and two coils. SOLUTION: A commutator is formed around the body of the commutator by clamping annular segment seats 255, 260 forming 8 segments of the armature around annular resin seats 252, 253, 254 having a multi-prismatic central hole formed in the axial direction and a plurality of needle-shaped holes around the central hole, so as to be formed at the periphery of the body of a commutator.
