PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate various speakers by using a speaker, having a characteristic from which musical sounds with a plurality of characteristics which differ in audibilities can be sounded and to simulate various speakers, even when one of a plurality of speakers with different characteristics is in use. SOLUTION: This simulator has a 1st selection means that receives a musical signal and selects a speaker, from which the musical signal is sounded, a 2nd selection means that selects a speaker different from the speaker selected by the 1st selection means and a control means 12, that controls a characteristic of the musical signal sounded from the speaker selected by the 1st selection means, on the basis of the characteristic of the speaker selected by the 1st selection means and the characteristic of the speaker selected by the 2nd selection means.
