PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cases, where editing job is disable due to lack of an image that is used for a template by storing the reference relation information which shoes the reference relation between the prescribed template information and the input image information. SOLUTION: Full image frame information is retrieved from every page information on the template information to acquire the file name information from among object image information. Then the image information having the relevant file name is acquired from an HDD 103. The acquired input image information is combined with the watermark image information acquired from the HDD 103 with an exclusive OR operation to obtain the watermarked image information that is stored in an FDD 102. Then it is decided whether or not the generation of the watermarked image information and its storage in the FDD 102 are finished of full image frame information on the template information. When these operations are finished, the processed template information is added to the unprocessed template information and the input image information and then stored in the FDD 102.
