PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of restraining the occurrence of the jamming of transfer material to the minimum by properly changing the respective set values of oil coating amount, the feeding speed of a cleaning web, the pressing pressure of the cleaning web, the pressing pressure of a separation pawl, fixing temperature by a fixing means and transfer material carrying speed and the like in the fixing means according to a previously prepared program by remote control by the time when a serviceman is sent to perform maintenance work. SOLUTION: The occurrence of the jamming of the transfer material S is restrained to the minimum by properly changing the respective set values of the oil coating amount, the feeding speed and the pressing pressure of the cleaning web 17, the pressing pressure of the separation pawl 23, the fixing temperature by a halogen heater 7 and the transfer material S carrying speed and the like in a fixing device 6 in the image forming device from a control center based on information detected by a jammed sheet number detecting means and a used sheet number detecting means consisting of photodetectors 27 and 28 or an image ratio calculation means.
