PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the chances that chips adhere to a sheet-like photosensitive material after cutting and eventually to lessen the burden of inspection and chip removal work in ensuing stages by providing the device with a chip removal mechanism for removing the chips generated by cutting from around the cutters by air streams. SOLUTION: The cutting device is provided with the chip removal mechanism having air stream blow-off ports 50 pierced and formed at the top end of a frame-like main body and a compressed air generating machine for supplying the compressed air streams to the air stream blow-off ports 50. During the cutting work, the air streams of air, etc., are intermittently ejected from the air stream blow-off ports 50 and the chips 3a can be blown off from around an upper blade 36 or lower blades 34a and 34b. A plurality of the air stream blow-off ports 50 are lined up along the longitudinal direction of the upper blade 36 and the individual air stream blow-off ports 50 are through-holes which have circular inner peripheral surfaces extending perpendicularly. The central axes thereof extend so as to be nearly aligned to the perpendicular flanks of a holding material 38 holding the upper blade 36.
