PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency and to reduce energy consumption in an operation by reducing temperature arrival time. SOLUTION: A thermostatic bath 1 has a heater 14, an air course switching type damper 15 for cooling, a circulating fan 17, a temperature sensor 21 constituting a temperature controller 2, a heating adjusting device 22, a heater driving device 23, a cooling control part 2a, etc. The part 2a comprises the driving device 23 as an outputting part, a cooling controlling part 24, a driving part 25 which receives its control signal and drives the damper, etc. The part 24 controls the damper to be closed, stopped and to drive in an opening direction when a heating output is, e.g. 3 to 6%, larger than those and smaller than them, respectively. An output in a driving state is made to corresponding to a heating output. Thus, the heat generation load of a sample is processed, quenching in a bath is made possible, operation efficiency is improved, and the heating output is minimized while maintaining temperature controllability to enable energy saving. |
