PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electronic apparatus to be protected against lightning discharge, to be used even if the lighting discharge occurs, and to enable effective measures to be taken in an area where lighting tends to occur geographically. SOLUTION: This device comprises an AC plug socket part 31, to which the plug 2 of an electronic apparatus 1 is connected, a unit plug 32 which is connected to a home AC wall socket, an anti-lightning circuit which blocks at least lightning discharge, and a box unit in which the AC plug socket part 31, unit plug 32 and anti-lightning circuit are arranged. In other words, this device is made up of a first connecting means, to which the power supply plug of an electronic apparatus is connected, a second connecting means which is connected to a power supply wall socket, a protective circuit which is effective at least against lightning discharge, and a box unit in which the connecting means and protective circuit is arranged.
