PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transfer sheet with a toner image which ensures good paper conveyability and toner image quality in an electrophotographic copying machine and gives a high-grade image when the toner image is printed after transfer from the transfer sheet to the surface of a heat resistant solid such as pottery. SOLUTION: A toner image which is colored after firing is formed on transfer paper for ceramics by an electrophotographic process to obtain the objective transfer sheet. The toner consists essentially of a colorant, a binder and glaze frit. The transfer paper is obtained by forming at least one water-soluble layer on a substrate and at least one resin film layer of >=1μm thickness on the water-soluble layer.
