SIGNAL DUBBING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continued recording without the need of dubbing again program units with sound breaks such as soundless parts or the like or, the entire disk when a crucial uncorrectable error is present or an encoding memory overflows at dubbing. SOLUTION: The signal dubbing apparatus has a digital signal memory and a pattern coincidence detecting part. When an uncorrectable error is generated or an encoded signal memory overflows, a coincidence of digital sound signals stored in the digital signal memory and encoded frame signals is detected at the time of continued recording. An encoding part is initialized on the basis of a timing of the stored encoded frame signals. Curtinuous recording at an optional place is thus enabled.
