PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a fixing device miniaturizable with a simple constitution and to make efficiently fusible and fixable unfixed toner. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an endless toner image carrier circulating in a direction orthogonal to the carrying direction of paper 14 and transferring a toner image formed on the surface of its own to the paper 14, and the fixing device 2 arranged on the downstream side of the toner image carrier and fixing the toner image on the paper 14. In such a case, the fixing device 2 is constituted of a housing having heat insulating structure and arranged under the carrying path of the paper 14, a heater 1 incorporated in the housing and a thermally conductive blowoff head 27 arranged at the upper end and a surface facing to the carrying path of the paper 14.
