PURPOSE: A CD player/radio receiver set and method for learning language using the same are provided to be capable of receiving a broadcast for teaching a language with the CD player/radio receiver set, so that language learning is practiced through letter and audio without additional cost. CONSTITUTION: In a CD player/radio receiver set and method for learning language using the same, the CD player/radio receiver set comprises a CPU(Central Process Unit)(300) controlling a radio receiver block(200) for receiving a language learning broadcast and a CD player block(100), a liquid crystal display(LCD) unit(400) connected to the CPU(300) to be controlled by the CPU, a sound amplifier unit(500), a button input unit(600), a LCD monitor(40) which receives signals from the LCD unit(400) and outputs letter, an on/off switch of radio(10) connected to the button input unit(600) to switch on/off a radio broadcast for broadcasting letter, a channel selection switch(20), and an on/off switch of CD player(60). When a program is broadcasted in English, for example, together with the English letter from a broadcasting station, a receiving member of the CD player/radio receiver set receives an audio signal and digital letter signal, so that English sound can be heard with an ear phone(55) and English letter is displayed on the LCD monitor(40).
