PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the procedure of opening a barrier and raising a finder simple and easy-to-understand by providing the barrier for protecting a camera lens and the liquid crystal display device of the finder by a rotary hinge for connecting a camera main body and the finder. SOLUTION: For the camera main body 1, a photographing lens 3 is added and an image projected to the image pickup surface of the camera main body 1 is recognized as image information. A finder main body 2 holds the liquid crystal display device 5 and the camera main body 1 and the finder main body 2 are held by the rotary hinge 4. By a rotary shaft positioned on the opposite side of a space capable of holding the camera main body 1 for connecting the camera main body 1 and the finder main body 2, rotation is performed for 90 deg. or 180 deg. in the opposite direction of the holdable space to be made to stand still and a stopper function for preventing an image pickup device from swinging even at the time of vertically and horizontally moving it is provided further. Also, a projected rail and a recessed guide for minimizing damages even when the camera main body 1 and the finder main body 2 are brought into contact at the time of performing rotation are provided.
