PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel and a display device capable of attenuating harmonic components and decreasing granular feeling by gently varying the distribution of luminous spots. SOLUTION: Emitter 2 of each color component are separated with a lack matrix 1 as viewed from the front of a display screen. The black matrix 1 does not exist in the central part forming picture elements, and varies the thickness so as to form normal distribution from its periphery to the periphery of the adjacent picture element. Thereby, granular feeling peculiar to a display device in which the picture element is separated is decreased and image quality is increased.
