PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waterproof enclosure which can reduce the rusting of the main body of the enclosure as much as possible by preventing the intrusion of moisture, etc., into a female screw section in which a set screw is screwed with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A waterproof enclosure is constituted by putting a waterproofing elastic body 4 in a recessed section 1a formed inside a set screw on the lower surface of an upper main-body cover 1 or the upper surface of a lower main- body cover 2 and, at the same time, a drainage ditch 3 is provided around a female screw section 3a in which the set screw of the cover 2 is screwed. Therefore, the enclosure can be constituted without increasing the number of parts and, in addition, the main body of the enclosure can be protected from rusting, because the intrusion of moisture, etc., into the screw section 2a from the outside can be prevented. |
