PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaking device capable of breaking a circuit surely in a short time and to thereby protect electric parts, when the abnormal signal of a vehicle is inputted. SOLUTION: A thermit case 25 having conductivity is contacted with a first bus bar 11 and a second bus bar 19, and a heating agent 27 is filled therein. An elastic volute spring 34 is arranged near the thermit case 25 or in contact with the thermit case 25, and a resinous rivet 35 is fixed on an outer case 15 in the state where the volute spring 34 is compressed. When an ignition part 29 is ignited by an abnormal signal from the outside, the heating agent 27 filled in the thermit case 25 generates heat, and the rivet 35 is melted by the heat, and the volute spring 34 is extended to thereby spring up the thermit case 25, therefore, electric connection between the thermit case 25 and the first bus bar 11 and the second bus bar 19 is cut. |
