PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-paid telephone set with a remaining measured service warning device for allowing a user to intuitively know the residual number of times of available speech, corresponding to the telephone use tendency of a user, and to operate the addition of measured service or the saving of telephone use in a timing corresponding to the telephone use tendency. SOLUTION: A customer's data base for storing available measured service based on a pre-paid contract is connected with a line network 10. When residual measured service information transmitted from the line network 10 through a telephone line 10a at end of speech is received by a line interface part 11, a control part 13 calculates the target remaining number of times for available speech from speech frequency stored in the memory part 12, based on the residual measured service information, and allows a display part to display visually that the residual measured service of speech is small when the residual measured service is a prescribed value or less, and allows a warning sound transmitting part to generate a warning sound for announcing it to a user with an auditory means. Thus, the residual frequency warning can be attained according to the use tendency different for each user.
