PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a measuring container by which a collected sample can be measured with high accuracy without a need of an operation in which the sample is transferred to another container. SOLUTION: This measuring container holds a sample 16 so that a beam of light 10 is transmitted through the sample 16. At this time, a collection part 151 which collects the sample 16 is provided. In addition, a measuring part 153 which is connected to the collection part 151 so as to form an internal space continued to the collection part, which protrudes from the collection part 151, and which has a prescribed optical path, is provided. A transparent member 153 is arranged in a part on the wall surface of the measuring part 152, which is crossed with the optical path of the beam of light 10.
