PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve write-in performance of a disk device and to prevent reduction of use efficiency of a channel by recording and reproducing compressed video data of a frame unit, corresponding to one disk device in plural disk devices. SOLUTION: A synchronism separation circuit 101 extracts a horizontal synchronizing signal and a frame pulse from a reference video synchronizing signal, an H-counter 102 counts horizontal synchronizing signals and is reset by a frame pulse. A CPU 103 sets the number of disk devices on the channel of a disk array device for a register 105 for the number of devices on a bus 104 via a bus 104. A preset register 106 calculates a preset value from a signal system used for discrimination in the synchronism separation circuit 101 and a set value of the register 105 for the number of devices. A comparator 107 compares the number of counts of the H-counter 102 with the value of the preset register 106 and sends an interrupt signal to the CPU 103 at matching timing.
