PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of improving photosensitivity by lowering residual potential with respect to the electrophotographic photoreceptor provided with a single layer type organic photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor provided with the single layer type organic photosensitive layer contains a charge generating agent, a hole transport agent, an electron transport agent and at least one kind of an electron acceptive compound on a conductive substrate. The positive transport agent is an organic compound expressed by formula. The electron transport agent or the electron acceptive compound is an organic compound, in which the ratio of inorganic value to organic value is controlled to 0.3-1.7 and the inorganic value is preferably 140-900. The electrophotographic photoreceptor is preferably used in positive charge type.
