PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light collector that is capable of efficiently collecting light and receiving it with an optical sensor, that is free from fluctuation in collected quantity caused by the movement of a focal point, and that can be made thin, and also to provide a light receiving device using the collector. SOLUTION: This collector is provided with a transparent collector main body 1 having a center part 2 and its peripheral light collecting part 3. Formed on the surface most away from the center part 2 of the light collecting part 3 is the reflection end face 4, which reflects to the inside of the main body 1 the light incident on the inside of the light collecting part 3 from the one main surface side of the main body 1, or the refraction end face 4' which refracts to the inside of the main body 1 the light incident on the inside of the light collecting part 3; and, the reflection main face 5, 9, which reflects the light reflected by the reflection end face 4 to the inside of the main body 1, is formed on the opposing main faces of the light collecting part 3 extending from the reflection end face 4 to the center part 2. |
