PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the optical alignment degree of an optical fiber block by measuring characteristics of the remaining optical fibers except the 1st and final optical fibers among optical fibers which are mounted in a V-shaped groove array according to the set positions of the 1st and final optical fibers by measuring characteristics of the 1st and final optical fibers and then setting their positions. SOLUTION: This device is so constituted as to measure the optical fiber alignment degree of the optical fibers mounted on an optical fiber block. In this case, the device includes a measurement part 112 which measures characteristics of light which is emitted by a light source 100 and outputted through the optical fibers, and a control part 114 which, while measuring the characteristics of the output lights of the 1st optical fiber and final optical fiber of the optical fiber block, determines the center positions of the 1st and final optical fibers, sets the direction connecting the determined center positions, and irradiates remaining optical fibers with the light emitted by the light source 100 so as to measure the characteristics of the remaining optical fibers according to the direction.
