PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reproducibility and image quality at the time of expressing and outputting the gradation of the color of images by correcting image data composed of the pixels of a specified shape detected from digitally read image data and raising image density. SOLUTION: As the preprocessing of a pattern matching processing, for horizontal line component extraction, in a filter part 1, a filter processing is performed by a feature extraction filter to input image data digitally read from an image reader such as a scanner provided with a photoelectric conversion element. Then, when the data after the filter processing are binarized in a binarization part 2, the edge components of horizontal lines are extracted. To the result, pattern matching is performed in a pattern matching part 3. Thus, in this image processor of an electronic photo system capable of multi- valued output, the reproducibility of output images is improved and the reproducibility of an original and the image quality are improved. Further, by turning a specified original to a target, thus processor is realized by a few electronic circuits, a design time period is shortened and the cost is lowered. |
