PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain effective use of a print output part by discontinuing an interrupt job under execution and then restarting the discontinued interrupt job when an original jam occurs at an original reading part, while the interrupt job is executed to read and print an original. SOLUTION: When an interrupt job is executed, while a print job is executed by a facsimile device F, the print job under execution is discontinued and an original is read at an original reading part 9. If jamming of an original occurs at the part 9, a main control part 1 discontinues the interrupt job under execution, and shows a notifying massage of the job discontinuation, a jamming eliminating method, etc., at a display part 7. If the part 1 decides that a recording paper jamming has occurred at a print output part 10, when the image data remain in an image memory 4 and the print job is not over yet, the discontinued interrupt job is stated again as soon as the jamming are eliminated at both parts 9 and 10. If the interrupt job is discontinued in a fax transmission mode, the part 1 starts again the discontinued print job. |
