PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system which can be applied to a register provided with an optical information reader and which can read commodity data during adjustment processing. SOLUTION: The transmission system 2 executes data read processing (S1), stores bar code data as commodity data in a RAM (S20) when reader decides that a commodity bar code 80 is read (S18), sets the commodity data stored in the RAM as commodity group data (S22) when it is decided as an end bar code 82 and transmits the commodity group data to a register 4. Then, it is possible to efficiently perform cash register work because adjustment processing in the register 4 and read processing reading the code 80 can be performed at the same time by using the system 2 even when the register 4 performs adjustment processing such as change calculation. |
