PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a parking charge service capable of being commonly applied to plural parking lots different in parking ticket format. SOLUTION: A customer in stores carries a member card 1 such as a magnetic card or an IC card, does shopping in several stores after parking in an optional parking lot and requests each store to record purchase information on the card 1 from the terminal 3 of the store when prices are paid in each store. In the purchase information, the store code, purchase date and time, purchase amount, etc., are written. Common parking ticket exchanging machines 9 are installed at various places in the town. The customer sets the card 1 on an optional common parking ticket exchanging machine 9 and designates a parking lot which the customer has used, with a parking lot selection button of the machine 9. The machine 9 reads the whole purchase information from the customer's card and issues a parking ticket 11 of a format for the parking lot designated by the customer when the total of purchased amounts is equal to or more than a prescribed amount. The customer inserts the ticket 11 into a fee adjusting machine in the parking lot and gets out of it. |
