The invention concerns the confinement of patients. More particularly, it concerns an individual mobile chamber for a patient, defined by an outer casing (1) consisting at least partly of a soft layered material, characterised in that the outer casing comprises: means (10) for being connected to a forced breathing mixture ventilation system (11); substantially sealing means (15) for passing through perfusion or breathing assisting tubes and/or electric cables (17) for medical equipment or the like; channels (20) for intake or discharge of ventilated gases; and an orifice (18) provided with closure means (19): The invention is applicable to confinement under excess pressure of an immunodeficient patient.
