PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device which is capable of achieving a fixing performance stably and is capable of performing maximum processings in the range of a determined power consumption by adjusting the electric power in which an electric power used in parts other than a fixing means is subtracted from an electric power being in the whole of the device so as to become the maximum value of electric power which is used in the fixing means. SOLUTION: Electric power W(t) used in parts other than the fixing means is detected by an electric power detecting means. An electric power adjusting means adjusts a remaining electric power in which the electric power W(t) is subtracted from the maximum electric power WMAX which is preliminarily set in the whole of an image forming device based on the detected result to supply it to the fixing means as the maximun electric power WFMAX which can be used in the fixing means. As a result, since the remaining electric power other than the electric power which is used in the parts other than the fixing means can be used as the maximum electric power WFMAX in the fixing means, a fixing defect due to the temp. reduction of a fixing roller which is generated by deficiency of supplying electric power to the means is prevented. |
