New make-up removing compositions containing new functionalized polyorganosiloxanes. The patent refers to use of at least 5 wt.% of linear A or cyclic B functionalized polyorganosiloxane (per total wt. of composition) in cosmetic make-up removal and/or cleaning compositions. Polyorganosiloxanes A and B have formula (I) and (I'), respectively R<1> and R<9> = similar or different Z or 1-8C (preferably 1C or 2C, especially 1C) alkyl radical; R<2>-R<8> = same or different 1-8C (preferably 1C or 2C, especially 1C) alkyl radical; Z = 6-20C linear or branched, saturated or not halo-aliphatic radical, especially chloro- or fluoro-aliphatic, -X-Y- radical, or phenyl radical, when n + m is 0; X = 2-10C polyvalent aliphatic linear or branched (un)saturated group; Y = aryl (preferably 6C) radical, optionally substituted with at least one 1-8C alkyl, or 6C aryl group, or halogen atom (preferably Cl or F), 5-6C ethylenically unsaturated cycloaliphatic radical, optionally substituted with at least one 1-8C alkyl group or halogen atom (especially Cl or F), 5-6C saturated cycloaliphatic radical, substituted with at least one halogen atom (Cl or F), or 4-9C heterocyclic hydrocarbon radical containing at least one N and/or O and/or S heteroatom, and optionally substituted with at least one 1-8C alkyl or 6C aryl group or halogen atom (Cl or F); n = 0-5, preferably 0 or 1, if n is 0, at least one of R<1> and R<9> is Z (formula I); or n is 1-5, preferably 1 (formula I'); m = 0-5, preferably 0 (in I); or 1-5, with n + m being at least 3 (in I'). Independent claims are also included for: (1) the process of removal of make-up from skin, eyes, eyelashes and/or eyebrows, by treatment with make-up removal composition containing at least 5 wt.% of functionalized linear (I) or cyclic (I') polyorganosiloxane as claimed; and (2) the make-up removal and/or cleansing composition containing 0-95 wt.% of aqueous phase, up to 100 wt.% of organic phase including functionalized polyorganosiloxane make-up removal and/or cleansing agent as claimed, and 5-50 (preferably 10-45) wt.% of functionalized polyorganosiloxane make-up removal and/or cleansing agent as claimed, and preferably having form of simple or multiple oil/water or water/oil emulsion. |
