摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify reproducing in processing audio signals coded with diverse sampling frequencies for every musical piece. SOLUTION: Incoming multichannel audio signals are adjusted and mixed together by a six-channel mix-and-matrix circuit 1', these channel signals are coded into prediction codes by a coding part 2', data of the prediction codes is quantized with number of sample of 40, 80, or 160 selected according to the sampling frequency, and the quantized data is compressed at a variable or fixed rate and then packed.
