PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera on which a large rotary member can be loaded, although the main body is made small in size. SOLUTION: As for the camera, a drive unit for recording data on a flat recording medium such as an FD or a medium whose size is nearly the same as that of the FD is used, and the flat part of the drive unit is constituted so as to be nearly orthogonal to a photographing optical axis and a photographing optical system is arranged on the object side of the drive unit, the camera is provided with an imaging device arranged on the end face side of the camera housing 1 and a disk-like rotary member 4 in which plural photographing optical systems 5 to 8 are arranged, and whose center is positioned nearly at the center of the camera so that the member 4 may be rotated and whose diameter is the same as the outside dimension of the camera.
