PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow anticorrosion treatment having durability by applying solvent type paint that thermoplastic saturated polyester base powdery paint is applied as prime coat and solvent type paint hardened by cold curing is applied as finish coat on the surface of metal material to be coated. SOLUTION: When obtaining a metal coated body such as road railings used in places such as place on the seashore apt to be corroded, treatment is made so that on the surface of metal material to be coated, thermoplastic saturated polyester base powdery paint is applied as prime coat and solvent type paint hardened by cold curing is applied as finish coat. At this time, in the coating method of the metal coating body, execution is made so that the thermoplastic saturated polyester base powdery paint is suitably applied as prime coat by fluidized immersion on the surface of the heated metal material to be coated and the solvent type paint hardened by cold curing is applied as finish coat while the prime coat layer has remaining heat before it is completely solidified. As the used thermoplastic saturated polyester base powdery paint, that consisting essentially of polyethylene terephthalate is preferable.
