PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further accelerate the muffling of sound with an end plate by reinforcing the end part of an end plate and limiting the transfer of vibration in its central part. SOLUTION: In a heat-exchange device, a feature part 91 with a step that is extended by a flat region 92 being brazed to a boss 25 of a partition plate 2 is provided at an end part in each longitudinal direction of an end plate 9, and a corrugated metal sheet 5 is provided so that it is entrapped between the end plate 9 and a surface 29 of the plate 2 for exchanging heat between an evaporator and its surrounding. A small plate 93 is brazed to an outer surface 98 of a flat region 92 and composes a reinforcement element for reducing noise being generated by the collision of a coolant against a solid surface 26 of the plate 2 in an axial direction. In this manner, the phenomenon of vibration excitation caused by the collision of the coolant against a wall part is considered in the heat-exchange device, thus limiting the vibration excitation of the partition plate or the end plate.
