PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound useful as a selective CCR5 receptor modulator, having a non-peptidyl structure, and useful for treating and preventing diseases or disorders mediated by or related to the modulation of the activity of CCR5 chemokine receptor. SOLUTION: A compound having [regionα]-[regionβ]-[regionγ]-[regionδ] [region.α] is an arylheterocyclylsubstituent component comprising a heterophenylmethylene moiety of formula I (R5 is a direct bond or the like; R6 is H or the like); [regionβ] is an alkyl-cross-linking element of formula II (R40, R41 are each H or the like), [regionγ] is an azamonocyclic moiety of formula III (→is a covalent bond or the like); [regionδ] is an aryl of formula IV (R73 is H or the like) and a heterocyclyl-(substituted)amide, carbamate or urea moiety}, preferably N-(1-phenyl-3- 4-[(2-phenylacetyl)amino]-1- piperidinyl}propyl)cyclobutane carboxamide. The compound is produced from a compound of formula V as a starting substance.
