PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjustable seat to ensure as comfortable height adjusting as possible. SOLUTION: This seat has a seat surface with a base frame where the base frame has a height adjusting device, especially for a vehicle and thereby the height can be adjusted. In this case, an additional power working device 19 and a height adjusting device 11 are juxtaposed to each other, and both adjusting power of the height adjusting device 11 and adjusting power of the working device 19 are used.
