PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make foundation work easier by cutting and removing obstacles such as base rock, boulders or the like by clamshells inserted to a casing tube. SOLUTION: An excavator 1 is inserted to a casing tube 71 which was pressed into the ground by an all casing excavator 70. Then, the main body 20 of the excavator is equipped with a gripper 25 for attaching to the casing tube 71, a pair of clamshell 50, a hydraulic cylinder 52 for giving opening/closing operation to the clamshell 50, a hydraulic motor for rotating the clamshell 50 around the axis line of the casing tube 71, and a sand pump for ejecting muddy water.
