PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the engine of a refrigerated transport vehicle to be started even when the battery of the vehicle is deteriorated or insufficiently charged, the capacity of the battery drops in a cold district, and so on. SOLUTION: A refrigerated transport vehicle is provided with a vehicle-side battery (first power source) 50 for starting a main engine (first engine), a controller 1 which controls the start of a sub-engine (second engine), a battery (second power source) 40 which feeds the controller 1 and is exclusively used for a refrigerating device, a connecting path 51 which connects the controller 1 to the vehicle-side battery 50, and a starter relay contact (connecting path opening/ closing means) 20a2 connected to the path 51.
