PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inside diaphragm-attached steel pipe constituted by welding the diaphragm to an optional position one long steel pipe to connect and the manufacture thereof as well while it is an inside diaphragm system. SOLUTION: An inside diaphragm-attached steel pipe is so constituted that projections 2 are formed on the inside 1a of specific positions in the longitudinal direction of a steel pipe 1 and that diaphragms 4 are monolithically welded to the inside 1a of the steel pipe by welding 6 in a state to lock a backing strips 3 with the projections 2. The steel pipe 1 can be used as one long steel pipe, and edge preparations for the welding 6 can be eliminated, and since each of the diaphragms 4 can be welded to one position in the vertical direction, the work is easily carried out and, at the same time, a manufacturing cost can be reduced. The diaphragms 4 can be welded to optional specific positions in one steel pile 1 to connect. As a result, the joint work by the welding 6 can be reduced in the amount used for the welding material to quickly carry out the work at a low cost.
