PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tatami mat floor that costs less, is lightweight and is comfortable by pouring a used paper dispersed liquid into a form, dehydrating and molding, adhering smooth paper to the top and the bottom and integrating and providing many vents from the top. SOLUTION: Only used paper is dispersed in water, the dispersion liquid is poured into a form, dehydrated and molded into a molding 1 for a tatami mat floor. Subsequently, the molding 1 is dried and then smooth paper 2 and 2' is adhered to the top and the bottom and integrated. In addition, many vents 3, 3 are bored overall in the molding 1 to nearly 90% the depth of the molding 1 from the top of the smooth paper 2 on the top. The smooth paper adhered to the top of the molding 1 is antibacterial paper and the smooth paper 2' adhered to the bottom is water repellent paper, thereby obtaining low-cost, lightweight and comfortable-to-use tatami mat floor.
