PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat molding apparatus for a thermoplastic plastic resin sheet wherein the sheet can be surely prevented from being brought into contact with a metal net and the sheet can be prevented from burning by a heater. SOLUTION: In a heat molding apparatus for a thermoplastic plastic resin sheet, a top heater 101, a bottom heater 102, a metal net 103, an elevating and lowering mechanism 107 for the bottom heater 102 and a metal net receiver 104 for the metal net are provided and the metal net 103 is provided under a condition where it is directly placed on the bottom heater 102 and when the bottom heater 102 is retreated downward, the metal net 103 is simultaneously lowered with the bottom heater 102 and at a position where this metal net 103 is lowered by a definite amt., it is stopped by means of the metal net receiver 104 and the bottom heater 102 can be furthermore retreated by means of the elevating and lowering mechanism 107.
