METHOD FOR INPUTTING INFORMATION TO RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE BY USING OPERATION PATTERN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input information to the radio communication device by using an operation pattern by detecting a new operation pattern given by a user, allocating a function to the new operation pattern, and storing the new operation pattern in the memory of a radio telephone set. SOLUTION: In a block 300, a microprocessor detects the user making a choice of entering an allocation mode for an operation pattern. In a block 302, the microprocessor displays all functions that the user can allocate operation patterns to. When the user selects one function, the microprocessor detects the choice in a block 304. While the user specifies an operation pattern by moving the telephone set, the microprocessor monitors the movement (acceleration) of the telephone set in a block 306. In a block 310, the microprocessor detects the completion of the operation pattern and in a block 312, the operation pattern is stored in the memory.
