PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw-away diaper which prevents the leakage of excrement, prevents sweating and has a good touch to the skin. SOLUTION: This throw-away diaper has a liquid permeable front surface sheet 2, a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 3, an absorber 4 arranged between these two sheets and side flaps 5 extending to an outer side from the side edges of the absorber 4. The rear surface sheet 3 is formed of an outer layer sheet 7 consisting of a nonwoven fabric and an inner sheet 6 consisting of a water impermeable sheet laminated on its inside surface. The side flaps 5 are formed of the outer layer sheet portion extending to the outer side from the side edges of the absorber 4 and side sheets 8 consisting of nonwoven fabrics arranged thereon. In addition, the water pressure resistance is >=150 mmH2O and the air permeability is 50 to 350 cc/c2.sec. A stretchable elastic body around the legs is arranged in a stretched state between the outer layer sheet 7 and the side sheets 8.
