PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject sustained-release oily preparation directly administrable to affected parts by formulating a preparation with a specified amount of 8-methoxypsoralen plus solid or semi-solid wax. SOLUTION: This therapeutic preparation is obtained by formulating a preparation with a total of 5.0-50.0 wt.%; of 8-methoxypsoralen and solid or semi-solid wax (e.g. ceresin, microcrystalline wax). This preparation is pref. in the form of stick type. Optionally, furthermore, this therapeutic preparation can be formulated with hydrocarbon such as liquid paraffin, fat-and-oil such as macadamia nut oil, wax such as jojoba oil, silicone such as dimethylpolysiloxane, higher alcohol such as caprylic alcohol, higher fatty acid such as capric acid, moisturizer such as polyethylene glycol, lower alcohol such as ethanol, antioxidant such as butyl hydroxytoluene, antimicrobial agent such as benzoic acid, surfactant such as sorbitan monolaurate, etc.
