PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a noise to be generated when tissue is taken (popped up) out of a box, to a degree which is not offensive to the ear. SOLUTION: A tissue storing box is so designed that a sheet 2 having a slit 2A covers a window 1A formed in an upper face of the box 1 from the inside of the window 1A and that a sheet of tissue stored inside the box 1 is taken out successively through the slit 2A. The sheet 2 has a U.S. basis weight of 10-35 g/m2 and is made of a synthetic paper or an unwoven cloth, in which a synthetic fiber or a chemical fiber is mixedly incorporated.
