PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method capable of providing vegetation to outdoor naked surfaces and automatically performing its watering work. SOLUTION: This method is for providing greening to outdoor naked surfaces 100 such as the surface of a concrete structure, face of slope, partition wall, concrete retaining wall 70 or the like. That is, a planting section 20 is formed at the upper side portion of the outdoor naked surfaces 100, a water storage tank 30 for temporarily storing rain water, valley water or the like is provided at the position almost equal to that of the planting section 20 or an upper side, hanging-down vine plants 10 are planted, and the water storage tank 30 and planting section 20 are connected together for watering to the hanging-down vine plants 10 inside the planting section 20.
