摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the amount of a supplied liquid independently of air flow rate or liquid viscosity to generate fine liquid particles by arranging an air injection port having an axis at right or obtuse angles with the axis of a liquid injection port in a mixing chamber connected to the liquid injection port. SOLUTION: A liquid L is sent continuously or intermittently from a liquid injection port 1 to a mixing chamber 4 with a pump or a plunger. Simultaneously, high-speed compressed air A is sent to the mixing chamber 4 from an air injection port 7 arranged almost at right angles with the liquid flow. The liquid L collides against air A in a collision zone 10 of the mixing chamber 4 to be finely atomized. The resultant mixture of air A in a high-pressure state and the liquid L passes through a spray nozzle 9 and is sprayed into open air at a high speed, forming a finer mist. The air injection port 7 may be arranged so that its axis 7a is at obtuse angles (as shown byθ) with the axis 1a of the liquid injection port 1 in the collision zone 10 of the mixing chamber 4.
