PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a getting in/out step apparatus for vehicle, capable of enhancing the ease of getting in/out and moving up/down on/from a loading space with simple operation, and preventing occurrence of a contact with a tire in traveling, in a heavy duty vehicle whose floor ground clearance is high and getting in/out property is low such as a snow-plough truck. SOLUTION: A step apparatus 10 consists of a fender 11 mounted on a cab 1, a movable step 12 slidably-mounted on the fender 11, a guide rail 13 formed on the fender 11, and a driving device 14 consisting of a driving belt 14A and a motor 14B. The motor 14B is rotated by operating switches SW1, SW2 to move the movable step 12 to an optimum position at the time of getting in/out and traveling (moving up/down), thus it is possible to enhance the ease of getting in/out and moving up/down on/from a loading space.
