PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing device capable of performing the initial setting of a master positively irrespective of a king of the master while ensuring a simple and positive detaching work by the operator during the detaching operation of a master roll. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a master storing part 3 for storing a master roll 1a comprising a roll-shaped master 1, a master tip end support part 2a for supporting the tip end of the master 1 delivered from the master roll 1a, a plate cylinder 5 provided with a master joint means 6 for joining the tip end of the master 1 in a part of its outer circumference, a processing means 4 for processing the master 1, a cutting means 8 for cutting the master 1 drawn from the master 1a, and a master holding and conveyance means 7 for holding the tip end of the master 1 supported on the master tip end support part 2a and conveying it toward the master joint means 6.
