PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoconductive rubber composition which has a low specific gravity, high thermoconductivity and strength, excellent shape- traceability to a heating element, and flexibility, and allows radiation of heat generated from electronic devices by dispersing a specific amount of polybenzazol short fibers into rubber. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by dispersing a specific amount of polybenzazol short fibers into rubber. It is preferable to have a compounding amount that the length of the short fibers is 10 mm or shorter, that 2-200 pts.wt. of short fibers are dispersed into 100 pts.wt. of rubber, and that the rubber is silicone rubber or thermoplastic elastomer. Not only the short fibers but also, for example, aramid fibers or polyester fibers can be used. In addition, silica and/or a flame retarder and so on can be used for reinforcement. It is preferable that Shore A hardness of the objective composition is 90% or smaller, and that the short fibers are dispersed by the roller used for blending rubber or the like. |
