PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an autonomic nervous system to be measured and evaluated from the physiological action with a large degree of freedom by making the balance of autonomic nerve activity a physiological index. SOLUTION: Any one of cardiac sympathetic nerve activity, cardiac parasympathetic nerve activity, cardiac autonomic nerve balance, heart rate interval, and pulse of a subject who is feeling amenity by cosmetic application or massaging is measured. Cardiac sympathetic nerve activity, cardiac autonomic nerve balance, heart rate interval, and pulse bring an action with degree of freedom by feeling amenity by cosmetics application or facial massage and the balance of autonomic nervous activity is maintained. The measurement of those parameters can be used as an evaluating method for judging the amenity obtained by cosmetics and massaging.
